영어를 사용하다 보면 헷갈리는 Contents와 Content의 차이... 이 글로 1분내로 이해하시고 사용하시기 바랍니다.

 

 

1. Contents : 내용물 (구성품) (셀수 있는 명사)

ex) 그의 쇼핑백 내용물들이 바닥에 쏟아졌다. >> The contetns of his shopping bag spilled across the ground.

ex) 내 백팩에는 어떤것들이 있을까? >> What do you think that what kinds of contents inside my backpack?

ex) 책 목차 : A table of contents

2. Content : 창작물 (셀수 없는 영어 명사)

ex) 웨딩 연설 창작물은 신랑을 홍당무로 만들었다. >> The content of the wedding speech made the groom blush.

ex) 크로와상은 매우 높은 지방함량이 높다. >> Croissants have a very high fat content.

ex) 유튜브는 콘텐츠들이 많다. >> Youtube has numbers of content.
